About Kokomere Adventure Safaris

Meet our director and guide extraordinaire, Keitopetse Petros Kagande. But you can call him KT. Born in Maun, where he still lives with his family, KT has decades of experience in the bush, including nearly a decade coordinating an Okavango Delta wilderness project program, which is where I first met this hard working guy! Kokomere is his brain child, and it was his vision to provide guests with the perfect mixture of authenticity, adventure, a bit of pampering, and warm Botswana hospitality.

Me? 20 years as an equine veterinarian, 13 years professor of human anatomy and physiology, and... passionate about the amazing people and wildlife I've come to know in Botswana. I split my time between Colorado, Virginia, Maun, and anywhere in between. Even when I'm not in Botswana, part of my heart is. I definitely feel I have family there.

I am delighted to be able to share my love for Botswana with you, and will do anything I can do help you set up the trip of a lifetime.
