Locally owned in Botswana! Tours Book early!

This trip was truly an adventure of a lifetime! I cannot even guess how many animals we saw. Something new almost every day. The bonus I had not expected was the most wonderful food, prepared fresh daily by the incredible Chef DK. The tents were specious and the beds were comfy and warm! Most importantly must give a big shout out to our wonderful, knowledgeable guide KT and the entire crew of Kokomere Adventure Safaris. All such warm, lovely people!

Jul 2025 • We wanted a once in a lifetime trip to celebrate our 50 years together…and Kokomere Adventure Safaris did not disappoint!! At its heart is a team of passionate people from our coordinator Donna to the rest of the dedicated staff all working together to create an unforgettable journey we will always remember.
From dawn to dusk, and into the magical “sundowners” our mobile safari gave us the thrilling experience of seeing the beautiful diverse landscape and incredible wildlife in their natural habitat. The expertise and knowledge of our guide KT provided multiple opportunities to see so many amazing animals up close and personal.
It was wonderful to end the exhilarating days enjoying delicious meals prepared by the camp chef DK, and sharing stories around the campfire then relaxing in our comfortable tent accommodations. The sights and sounds of the African bush will stay with us forever!

Wow, we had a real adventure viewing wildlife up close and crossing rivers in Moremi and Chobe parks. Tent camping in the wild was enhanced by an attentive staff and a camp chef. Highly recommend Kokomere.

Truly an ‘Out of Africa ‘Experience
I absolutely loved my camping experience in the Bush. It was so authentic being surrounded by nature, eating round the camp fire at night, with the Milky Way sparkling overhead.
My tent was all set up with the bed made. Wonderful to have your own loo. I slept well on the very comfortable mattress and was quickly lulled to sleep by the sounds of the bush.
Being in a small group means you can talk to the guide KT . He is so knowledgeable having being born in Botswana and lived there all his life. Ask him anything and he knows the answer! He can read an animal’s behaviour which is essential for safety, as well as understanding how wild animals and birds live.
The small group means you can always have an outside seat in the land cruiser. Unlike many of the other adventure safari land cruisers we saw, where guests were cramped like sardines in the back of the vehicle with little chance of taking decent photos or seeing the wildlife properly. Also, their guide driving was partitioned off in his cab so there was little or no communication with the guests in the back.
Victoria Falls was breathtaking. Tip: get there early in the morning as soon as it opens to avoid the crowds.
We viewed it from both sides: the Zim side and the Zambian side. Personally, I preferred the Zambian side as you could get so much closer to the Falls and experience an absolute soaking from the thunderous spray. But you are rewarded with the most amazing rainbows and an unforgettable experience. Tip: take a change of clothes
I love the fact that Kokomere employs local people and uses locally made items where possible.
It was such a special experience and one that I will remember forever.
