This African Safari was nothing short of extraordinary and exceeded my expectations in every way.  It was an incredible adventure with wildlife encounters that were thrilling, awe-inspiring, and humbling at the same time.   Every day on every drive we saw a variety of animals including elephants, lions, leopards, cheetas, giraffes, zebras, wildebeest and many incredible birds.  It was true what Donna Burge said.  You can bring binoculars, but you won’t need them.  The extraordinary guide (KT) grew up in the Okavango Delta and was able to locate the animals.  He would turn off the engine and we would observe these amazing creatures in their own habitat – priceless!

The accommodations were outstanding, very comfortable with a close connection to the surrounding wilderness.  The warm and hospitable staff took wonderful care of us.  Our group enjoyed gourmet meals under the stars and listened to the sounds of the African bush at night creating memories I will remember forever.
Botswana is a country that is dedicated to the preservation of these amazing wild animals and their habitat.   I could not imagine a better way to explore it than with Kokomere Adventure Safaris.

I recently went on a safari with Kokomere and had the most incredible experience! The guide, KT, is extremely knowledgeable and can answer any question you possibly have about the animals. The chef, DK, is an amazing cook and every meal was delicious. The staff are all kind and hard working, taking care of everything with a smile. We saw all the Big 5 and much more. The tents and bathrooms were always clean and in great shape. The beds were more comfortable than my bed at home. It was the trip of a lifetime!

I have done a fair amount of international travel , but this experience topped them all.  It was magical! The trip was beyond my expectations in every way. First, booking the trip with Donna, the tour operator, was smooth and seamless. She responded quickly and patiently to the multitude of questions I had. She suggested a fantastic itinerary which included visiting an elephant orphanage,  Moremi game reserve, Khwai, Savuti, and Victoria Falls. Secondly, KT, the guide, was extremely knowledgeable about all things Botswana (animals, plants, trees, best times to view, how to track, etc). Every time we ventured out we saw something new. Best of all, he was so very kind and patient with the six of us in the vehicle. Thirdly, the food and accommodations were a 5 star experience. The tents were spacious and clean. Every time we ventured out for a game drive (which was mornings and evenings)  my bed was made, tent was swept, and my bath towel was folded into something fun. I very much enjoyed  having a warm shower everyday in my own bathroom area. The 3 meals a day, morning mimosas, and sun downer drinks (gin and tonics) were fabulous. DK, chef extraordinaire, prepared delicious 5 star meals. In all my years of travel, it is the first time a company provided me special meals that took my diet restrictions into account. All in all, this was a trip of a lifetime and I cannot recommend Koko-mere Adventures enough. Five out of 5 stars in every category. (From a Google review)
